Jason A.
Frank graduated from the New York University School of Law. His elder law
practice addresses the legal consequences of common age related disabilities.
He also serves as the Assistant Baltimore County Attorney for the Baltimore
County Department of Aging and authored "Elder Law in Maryland", Lexis Law
Publishing Co., 1999 2nd edition. Mr. Frank was a cofounder of the Elder Law
Section of the Maryland State Bar Association and served as Chair of the Elder
Law Section Council. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law
Attorneys and President of the Maryland Chapter. He has taught at the
University of Baltimore Law School, Towson University, The Johns Hopkins
University, the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of
Lawyers, and the University of Maryland School of Law.

Laurie S. Frank, Esq.

Laurie S. Frank graduated from the University of Maryland
School of Law and holds a Masters in Social Work and Certificate in
Gerontology from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Before
joining the Law Office of Jason A. Frank in 1995, she was a Housing
Specialist with the Maryland Department on Aging, with a focus on Medicaid
issues. She has taught courses on elder law for the University of Maryland
University College and the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional
Education of Lawyers. She is a member of the Elder Law Section of the
Maryland State Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys,
and the National Association of Social Workers.

Scherr, Esq.

Kandace L. Scherr graduated from the University of Maryland
School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in both Maryland and the
District of Columbia,and is a member of both the Maryland and District of
Columbia bar associations. Her practice focuses on Medicaid planning and
guardianship. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law
Attorneys and a member of the Elder Law Section of the Maryland State Bar
Association.

Mary E. O'Byrne graduated Order of the Coif
from the University of Maryland School of Law and holds a Masters in
Business Administration from the University of North Carolina. She received
her Bachelors degree from Yale University. Prior to entering the field of
law, she worked for over 10 years in the health insurance and HMO
industries, concentrating in strategic planning and information systems.
Admitted to the Maryland bar, she is a member of the Elder Law, Estates and
Trusts, and Health Care Law Sections of the Maryland Bar Association. She is
also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
