Our attorneys review each client’s situation and make recommendations concerning the legal tools that may achieve their goals. Our firm can assist you in understanding the various methods to distribute assets upon your death either through your probate estate or outside probate. Whether it is a Last Will & Testament, Revocable Living Trust, Irrevocable Income Only Trust, Special Needs Trust, Life Estate Deed, placing beneficiary designations on assets or other methods, we will review the pros and cons of the different options, draft the necessary documents and assist you in implementing the estate plan.
- Estate Administration
The administration of probate estates and distribution from Trusts terminating by their terms and/or with the consent of all beneficiaries are also within the scope of our services. Estates are administered in an efficient and timely manner. Accountings can be filed as soon as six months and one day after the estate is opened, and distributions can be made upon the approval of those accountings in most estates. In large estates, our firm does not get paid until the accounting is approved. Trust terminations and distributions are accomplished as timely as statute and good sense permits.
